Briefly: Erin Fahey begins her third year at LMU...scored five goals in
her sophomore season following a freshman season in which she made a
definite impact...in two seasons, she has already scored nine goals and
has 21 career points...possesses a strong ability to hold the ball and
score goals...will continue to play an important offensive role for the
Lions.

1999:...played in 14 of the Lions' 19 games this season,
starting nine...was third on the team with five goals in 1999...added two
assists to rank tied for second on the team with 12 total
points...three of her five goals were game winners, all coming in 1-0
decisions for the Lions...she scored the game winners against Air Force
(Sept. 3), Baylor (Sept. 19) and Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 1)... at
Baylor she came off the bench to score the winner...Her two assists
also came on game winners, assisting in the winners against Colorado
College on Sept. 26 and Utah State on Oct. 8...
1998:...played in all 19
games and started in 10 of those contests...earned the LMU Rookie of
the Year award...finished the season ranked fourth on the team with
nine total points...scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over
Wyoming on October 2...posted five shots and scored a goal in a 2-0 win
against UC Santa Barbara on September 20...ranked third on the team in
scoring with four goals, and fourth on the team in shots with 21.
High School: Fahey is a 1998 graduate of North Kitsap High School in
Poulsbo, WA...a four-year letterwinner in soccer and track and field...a
two-year soccer team captain...garnered All-Olympic League honors all
four years...led the league in scoring as a freshman, junior and
senior...twice led prep team to league championship...garnered AAAA
all-state honors as a senior and AAA all-state honors as a junior...a
track team captain her junior and senior year...prep soccer coach was
Tim Burns.
Personal: Erin Elizabeth Fahey was born on November 21, 1979 in
Edmonds, WA ...the daughter of David and Elizabeth Fahey...has one
brother, Brendan...enjoys hiking and sailing in her free time...spent the
summer coaching at soccer camps...also recruited by Tulane, New Mexico
and Gonzaga...a communication studies major with a minor in Spanish.
