High School:Arias is a 1999 graduate of Highland High School in
Bakersfield, CA...a four-year varsity letterwinner...played as a
defender, forward and midfielder...honored as a four-time All-SEYL
conference selection...earned Central Section all-area and Bakersfield
all-city honors as a senior...served as team captain in his final
campaign...prep coach was Anthony Felix.
Personal:Philip Ysabel Arias was born on January 11, 1981 in Wasco,
CA...the son of Candelario and Elizabeth Arias...has two sisters,
Katherine and Marina...names hamburgers as his favorite food...enjoys
going to the beach...a political science major.
