A 2015 graduate of Kamehameha Schools - Kapalama in Honolulu, Hawaii... prepped under head coach Thomas Perkins... a three-year varsity letter winner, including serving as team captain in his junior and senior seasons... All-League selection as a junior and senior... earned All-State honors at third base in each of his final two campaigns... team MVP as a junior... 2015 Kamehameha Distinguished Scholar award recipient... top player in Hawaii according to MaxPreps...

Codie Keolananimauloa Paiva was born June 27, 1997 in Honolulu, Hawaii... son of Maybelle and Scot Paiva... chose LMU to work with the great coaching staff, the campus is very nice, and he felt comfortable when he took the campus tour...also cited the strength of the WCC and competitive baseball program at LMU... a liberal arts major.
