HIGHLIGHTS AT LMU...
IN 2018-19 • REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE... Played in a career-high 24 games… Tied his career-high with eight points in the win over Bethesda (11/29/18)… Recorded career-high six rebound games in wins over CSUN (11/13/18) and Bethesda (11/29/18)… Dished out a career-high seven assists in the win over Westcliff (11/6/18)… Blocked a career-high two shots in the win over CSUN (11/13/18).
 
IN 2017-18 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN... Played 17 games and made a start against Portland (1/20/18)... Scored a career-high eight points on 3-for-5 shooting and a career-high 2-for-4 from three at Incarnate Word (11/22/17)... Totaled four steals at Boise State (11/25/17)... Played a career-high 18 minutes at BYU (1/18/18)... Knocked down his only three-point attempt in the WCC Tournament game against #7 Gonzaga (3/3/18) .

IN 2016-17 • FRESHMAN.... Played in the season opener against Vanguard (11/11/16) but an injury forced him out of the season... Scored six points on 3-for-8 shooting in his 13 minutes of action... Was granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA.

BEFORE LMU... Gipson was a First-Team All-Los Angeles City selection for a Fairfax team that ranked as high as fifth in the nation in the USA Today Super 25 High School poll. Fairfax made it to the CIF Southern Section regional finals, finishing 32-3 in 2015-16... earned All-League and All-City as a junior and senior... was an All-State and All-CIF selection as a junior... As a junior, Gipson turned heads for one of the top programs in the nation... the team started the year taking home the championship of the 55th Snowball Classic, defeating teams by a score of 350-171 in the nationally known tournament. Gipson was named MVP, scoring 20 points in the title game, 22 in the semifinals, 20 points in the quarterfinals... Gipson's junior season earned him All-City in one of toughest regions in the state...Earned First-Team All-Los Angeles City...
