HIGH SCHOOL
A 2018 graduate of Summit High School in Bend, Ore.. two-year varsity letterwinner playing for coach Jill Waskom... served as team captain in her final year... second team All-State in 2016... guided her squad to a fourth-place finish in the 2016 State tournament... led her team to the Oregon 5A State Final match in 2017 while playing as the top seed in the tournament... also competed for Rimrock Volleyball Club.
PERSONAL
Ella R. Knowlton... daughter of Tara and Scott Mortenson... has one sister, Scout... chose LMU because she loved the size of the University, location and team... traveled to Africa on a service trip and performed community service in Nicaragua... a psychology major.
