BRIEFLY... Jalen Ward is in his first season at LMU after transferring from Bellevue College in Washington... enters his junior season in 2015-16.

BEFORE LMU... played for coach Jeremy Eggers for two seasons at Bellevue... averaged 16 points, five assists and four rebounds per game... helped team win North Region Championship in 2014 and 2015... in sophomore season, was a First-Team All-North Region selection and a NWAC All-Star selection... was named team captain and won NWAC Academic Leadership Award... was a NWAC All-Academic selection... was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.... graduated from O'Dea High School in May of 2012... was a two-time all-conference selection and was a four-time letter winner for coach Al Hairston... four-year starter that helped team to back-to-back Metro League Championships as a junior and senior in 2011 and 2012... averaged 14 points and seven assists in high school career... also qualified for the Metro League finals in the 100-meter dash for the track team as a senior.

PERSONAL... Jalen Madison Ward was born on Jan. 1, 1994 in Seattle, Wash... he is the son of Teri and James Ward...he has an older brother... a Communication Studies major.
