Begins his third season with the Lions...duplicated his effort between his sophomore and junior season in which he hit over .300...has a good understanding and the approach of good hitting...has occasional power and is a very solid base runner...always tries to improve his game...a quality kid who works hard...gives everything to help the team succeed...was injured both year at junior college...will be the starter in leftfield for the Lions...will be a senior leader for the Lions, knowing how to win with two conference championships.

Was the offensive spark for the Lions in the 6-4 win over Fullerton...Hit a two-run homer in the top of the first...Finished Regional hitting 2-for-11 (.182) with three RBI.

Started 35 games for the Lions, 26 in left field and nine as the designated hitter...heads into Regional with a .329 batting average, getting 46 hits in 140 at-bats this season...his 46 hits set a career high for the third year player...hit 11 doubles, one triple and five home runs, including a solo shot in game one of the WCC championships against Pepperdine...a .529 slugging percentage that helped him drive in 26 runs on the year...stole eight bases in eight attempts and finished scoring 34 runs...had a five RBI performance against Saint Mary's on 3/31/00 and finished the game going 2-for-4 with one run scored...in the win over UCLA (Apr.4), finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored...against teams in NCAA Regionals, he finished hitting 13-for-22 (.590) with six runs scored and four RBI (UCLA, USC, Cal State Fullerton and Fresno State).
1999 Regional Notes
Finished the Regional tournament hitting .167 on a combined 1-for-6 effort at the plate...Registered two strikeouts and was 0-for-1 in stolen base attempts...Went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against Stanford in the first round...Collected a single in the fourth inning and finished with a 1-for-3 effort in the team's 4-3 loss to Nevada in the elimination game.

Ranked sixth on the team with a .312 batting average and third in steals (9)...totaled nine stolen bases in 11 attempts...scored 33 runs (7th) and collected 23 RBI in 144 at-bats...drew 13 walks and fanned 23 times in 181 total plate appearances...played in 52 games, starting in 37...committed two errors in 60 chances (.967)...collected six doubles and four home runs to post a slugging percentage of .438 (9th)...enjoyed a perfect day at the plate with a 5-for-5 effort and two RBI in the team's 14-9 win over Cal State Northridge (2-27-99)...hit his first collegiate home run, a three-run shot in the 4th inning, that helped LMU defeat UNLV, 20-11 (3-3-99)...collected his first career grand slam in a 19-10 win over Pepperdine (4-17-99) in a pinch-hit situation in the 8th inning...hit another grand slam (2nd of the season) to tie the game at 9-9 in the top of the ninth against Portland (5-1-99), however, LMU lost 10-9 in the bottom of the inning...went 1-for-4 with five RBI in the loss to the Pilots.
