Kelly Yukihiro begins her fourth season with the Lions...a technically solid goalkeeper...very good in distributing the ball...even better with the ball at her feet...gained valuable experience last season...slated to start in goal for the Lions this season.

At LMU-2003

Played every minute of all 20 games... registered eight shutouts...boasted a 1.31 goals against average... collected 76 saves on the year...made a season-high nine saves against Portland (Oct. 26)... was named WCC Player of the week (Sept. 29)...

2002

Saw action in 11 games, making 10 starts...posted 42 saves... boasted a 0.83 goals against average...tallied a record of 3-3-1 and collected five shutouts.

2001

Played in five games and made two starts...logged 265 minutes in the net...posted a 1-1 record with a win over UC Irvine (Sep. 23)...collected eight saves...took part in the 4-0 shutout of Gonzaga (Nov. 9).

High School

Yukihiro is a 2001 graduate out of Foothill High School in Santa Ana, CA...a four-year letterwinner in soccer...named team captain her junior and senior seasons...earned All-Centry League as a freshman, junior and senior...received MVP awards from her team and the Century League her senior year...prep coach was Nancy Doting.

Kelly Yuriko Yukihiro was born on Feb. 1, 1983 in Anahiem, CA...the daughter of Richard and Pamela Yukihiro ....has one sister Tracy, and one brother, Richard....her favorite television show is 'The Sopranos'...chose LMU for the campus, soccer program and academics...a sociology major.
