Brian Vestal enters his third season with the Lions...will provide excellent depth at outside midfield and outside back...distributes the ball well, can swing it from left to right and right to left...an excellent passer whose speed will make him dangerous offensively.
At LMU-2003
Played in seven games and was designated a starter in three of those games...saw limited minutes and battled injuries all season.
2002
Saw action in 21 games and made six starts...took five shots, three of which were on goal, two against Eastern Illinois (Sept. 15) and one against Saint Mary[apos]s (Oct. 27)...finished second among Lions with five assists on the year...was named to the Vanderbilt all-tournament team.

Vestal is a 2002 graduate of Troy High School in Fullerton, CA...a two-sport athlete, competed in both soccer and track...a seven-year letterwinner, four in soccer and three in track...captained his junior and senior soccer squads...earned Reebok High School Soccer All-America accolades as a sophomore...was a two-time All-Freeway League pick in soccer...named Freeway League Soccer Player of the Year and team MVP as a senior...prep soccer coach was Jesus Miramontes.
