BRIEFLY... Eli Scott finished his fifth season of collegiate basketball at LMU in 2021-22... For the third-straight season, Scott led the Lions in points, rebounds, assists, minutes played, and starts… As a junior, Scott became the first player in school history to record a triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists against Grambling State (12/7/19)… Scott broke the LMU freshman rebounding record with 225 boards and recorded the third-highest scoring mark of any freshman Lion with his 392 points... Scored his 2,000^th career point in the 2022 West Coast Conference Tournament… Completed his final season ranked in the top 10 in program history in points (6^th with 2,002), rebounds (3^rd at 936), assists (6^th at 444), double-doubles (5^th at 27)… field goals made (4^th at 739), free throws made (3^rd at 496), games played (1^st at 141), games started (2^nd at 121), and minutes played (2^nd at 4,529)… Named to the 2022 All-WCC Second Team, 2021 All WCC First Team, 2021 NABC All-District 2^nd Team, 2020 All-WCC Second Team, and the 2018 WCC All-Freshman team.

IN 2021-22 • FIFTH YEAR... One of only two players on the team to start all 29 games… Team leader in points (17.4), rebounds (6.4), assists (3.0), and minutes per game (35.4) for the third-consecutive season… Ranked among the WCC leaders: 3^rd in PPG, 8^th in RPG, and 7^th in FG%, 4^th in MPG… Scored in double-figures in 25 games, with 12 games at 20+ and two games at 30+… Tied his previous career-high with 31 points and 10 rebounds against Pepperdine (1/20/22)… Finished the season with three-straight 20-point games including his final games in the WCC Tournament with 20 points in the win over Pacific (3/3/22) and 24 points in the final game against BYU (3/4/22)… Became the sixth player in school history to surpass 2,000 career points with a putback layup in the WCC Tournament… Named to the 2022 All-WCC Second Team.

IN 2020-21 • SENIOR... Only player on the team to play and start all 22 games… Team leader in points (18.0), rebounds (8.2), assists (3.6), and minutes per game (35.6)… Ranked among the WCC leaders: 4^th in PPG, 3^rd in RPG, 9^th in APG, and 2^nd in MPG… Scored in double-figures in 19 games, recorded double-digits rebounds in seven games, and hit double-digit assists twice… Only player in the WCC to average more than 20 points per game in 2020-21… Finished the year with seven double-doubles, tying himself for the most since the 2005-06 season… Tied his previous career-high with 31 points and 12 rebounds at UC Santa Barbara (12/7/20)… Scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, including going 11-for-11 from the free throw line, against Saint Mary’s (1/21/21)… Scored a career-high 37 points in LMU’s comeback win over Santa Clara (2/16/21), including hitting the game-winning jumper (2/16/21)… Named WCC Player of the Week on Feb. 22, 2021 after averaging 24.0 points per game and leading LMU to two road wins… Recorded a 24 and 14 double-double on 9-for-11 shooting to open the WCC Tournament with a win over San Francisco (3/5/21)… Named to the 2021 All-WCC First Team and NABC All-District Second Team.

IN 2019-20 • JUNIOR... Only player on the team to play and start all 32 games… Team leader in points (15.5), rebounds (6.7), assists (4.3), steals (1.0), and minutes per game (34.6)… Ranked among the WCC leaders: 7^th in PPG, 7^th in RPG, 3^rd in APG, 2^nd in FG%, and 3^rd in MPG… Scored in double-figures in 27 games, recorded double-digits in seven games, and hit double-digit assists twice… Finished the year with seven double-doubles, the most since the 2005-06 season… Scored a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds in LMU’s close battle at #20 Colorado (12/4/19)… Became the first player in school history to record a triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists against Grambling State (12/7/19)… Scored 26 points in the win over Cal State Fullerton (12/22/19)… Recorded LMU’s first-ever non-point double-double with 13 rebounds and 10 assists in the conference win over Portland (1/23/20)… Shot 6-7 for 16 points to help LMU win the opening round game of the WCC Tournament over San Diego (3/5/20)… Finished the season with a double-double in the second round of the WCC Tournament with 19 points and 10 rebounds against San Francisco (3/6/20)… Named to the 2020 All-WCC Second Team.

IN 2018-19 • SOPHOMORE... Played in the final 27 games of the season as a sophomore after starting the year with an illness… Started 18 of the final 20 games of the year, including all post season games… Second on the team with 2.5 assists per game, third on the team with 4.8 rebounds per game, and fourth on the team averaging 7.9 points per game… Improved his field goal percentage to 51.9 percent from 47.1 percent a year ago… Recorded his top two scoring outputs in #PCHCup games against Pepperdine with 18 points (1/3/19) and 17 points (1/19/19) in two regular season matchups… Dished out a career-high seven assists on two occasions, against BYU (2/16/19) and at Pacific (2/23/19)… Set a career-high with two threes and matched a career-high with two blocks at Pepperdine (1/3/19)… Recorded a 14 point and 12 assist game against Saint Mary’s (1/12/19), moving him to a tie for 23^rdall-time in program history with seven career double-doubles.
 
IN 2017-18 • FRESHMAN... Played in all 31 games as a freshman, making 20 starts on the year, including the final 12 games of the season... Broke the freshman rebounding record with 225 total rebounds and an average of 7.3 rebounds per game, both finished as team-high marks... Finished third all-time among freshmen with 392 points and sixth with a 12.6 points per game scoring average as a freshman.. Totaled six doubles-doubles which is tied for 24th for an LMU career... Played the second-most minutes for the Lions at 30.9 per game... Reached the 20-point mark twice, in the win over UC Riverside (11/15/17) he scored a career-high 21 points and in the win at CSUN (12/9/17) he added 20 more on 8-for-11 shooting... Corralled a career-best 13 rebounds against Portland State (12/6/17), one of his eight double-digit rebounding games... Recorded a 12 point, 10 rebound game to open the WCC Tournament and defeat Portland (3/2/18)... Set a career-high assist mark with six in the conference win over Pacific (2/24/18)… Named to and the 2018 WCC All-Freshman team.

BEFORE LMU... Scott graduated from Chino Hills High School in 2017... Served as captain his senior season and was all-league, all-region, and All-CIF as a junior and senior... Won the national championship for Chino Hills... First-Team All-Los Angeles City.

PERSONAL... Eli Scott was born in West Covina, Calif., and is the son of Angel Scott and step-son of Aylwin Gibson... Majoring in African American Studies.
