IN 2018-19 • SOPHOMORE... Played in the final 27 games of the season as a sophomore after starting the year with an illness… Started 18 of the final 20 games of the year, including all post season games… Second on the team with 2.5 assists per game, third on the team with 4.8 rebounds per game, and fourth on the team averaging 7.9 points per game… Improved his field goal percentage to 51.9 percent from 47.1 percent a year ago… Recorded his top two scoring outputs in #PCHCup games against Pepperdine with 18 points (1/3/19) and 17 points (1/19/19) in two regular season matchups… Dished out a career-high seven assists on two occasions, against BYU (2/16/19) and at Pacific (2/23/19)… Set a career-high with two threes and matched a career-high with two blocks at Pepperdine (1/3/19)… Recorded a 14 point and 12 assist game against Saint Mary’s (1/12/19), moving him to a tie for 23rdall-time in program history with seven career double-doubles.
IN 2017-18 • FRESHMAN... Played in all 31 games as a freshman, making 20 starts on the year, including the final 12 games of the season... Broke the freshman rebounding record with 225 total rebounds and an average of 7.3 rebounds per game, both finished as team-high marks... Finished third all-time among freshmen with 392 points and sixth with a 12.6 points per game scoring average as a freshman.. Totaled six doubles-doubles which is tied for 24th for an LMU career... Played the second-most minutes for the Lions at 30.9 per game... Reached the 20-point mark twice, in the win over UC Riverside (11/15/17) he scored a career-high 21 points and in the win at CSUN (12/9/17) he added 20 more on 8-for-11 shooting... Corralled a career-best 13 rebounds against Portland State (12/6/17), one of his eight double-digit rebounding games... Recorded a 12 point, 10 rebound game to open the WCC Tournament and defeat Portland (3/2/18)... Set a career-high assist mark with six in the conference win over Pacific (2/24/18)… Named to and the 2018 WCC All-Freshman team.
BEFORE LMU... Scott graduated from Chino Hills High School in 2017... Served as captain his senior season and was all-league, all-region, and All-CIF as a junior and senior... Won the national championship for Chino Hills... First-Team All-Los Angeles City.
PERSONAL... Eli Scott was born in West Covina, Calif., and is the son of Angel Scott and step-son of Aylwin Gibson... Majoring in African American Studies.
