FULLERTON, Calif. — LMU played Cal St. Fullerton to a 0-0 tie on Wednesday at Titan Stadium. The Lions were outshot 17-8 but made four saves to preserve the shutout. Dade recorded his third clean sheet of the season.

The Lions finished with eight shots and two on goal, while Cal St. Fullerton recorded 17 shots and put four on frame.
Ky Mani Dade recorded four saves over 90 minutes as the Lions held Cal St. Fullerton without a goal, with neither side converting its chances.

The Lions kept Cal St. Fullerton off the board in the first half, with Dade making saves in the 32nd and 35th minutes as the home side generated several looks. Nieves looked dangerous early in the first half with some pinpoint early crosses. The Lions created two early chances through
Skyler Wright and
Axel Uriostegui, whose shot in the eighth minute was saved by Asger Hemmer. The Lions also earned corner kicks in the 12th and 26th minutes but faced more pressure after the half-hour mark, including multiple Cal St. Fullerton shots and a 43rd-minute attempt that hit the right woodwork. Dade made a sprawling save in the 32nd minute to deny a good chance. He followed up the early save with a double save in the 35th minute in which he pushed the first shot onto the crossbar before smothering the follow-up. Matthew Sacristan put the Lions' final shot on frame at 45:00, and the half ended scoreless.

The Lions generated a run of chances after halftime, with
Adrian Alvarez shooting wide in the 50th minute before
Sam Scott and
Ismail Nieves added attempts around a Lions corner. Dade made two saves in a Cal St. Fullerton pressure stretch, stopping Fernando Valenzuela in the 66th minute and Matias Mestre in the 68th to help the Lions keep the second half scoreless. Cal St. Fullerton continued to press with multiple shots and corners, including an Alex Lugo effort off the woodwork in the 72nd minute, before Cesar Aubour was shown a red card in the 78th. The Lions earned another corner in the 80th minute and Scott added a late shot in the 87th, but the game would end in a scoreless draw.
