LOS ANGELES — LMU (0-2-0) fell to Pitt (2-1-0) with a final score of 2-1 on Thursday at Sullivan Field.
The match began with Pittsburgh applying significant pressure, managing several corner kicks and shots within the first 10 minutes. At 12:19, Pittsburgh's Celine Ottah notched a goal with assists from Adi Bianchin and Katie Ellermeyer, putting the Lions behind. Despite multiple attempts by Pittsburgh, including a notable save by
JJ Hoover at 16:47, LMU's defense held firm to prevent further goals. Substitutions in the first half put on some added pressure, as

Pittsburgh scored a penalty kick in the 73rd minute.
LMU demonstrated resilience in the second half, with
