LOS ANGELES – LMU's pair of
Jaeya Brach and
Tanon Rosenthal have been named the West Coast Conference Pair of the Week following their performance in Santa Cruz's West Coast Challenge this past weekend.
Brach and Rosenthal were the only team to go 4-0 without dropping a set to help LMU go unbeaten at the West Coast Challenge. In an event that featured exclusively WCC schools, Brach and Rosenthal rolled through the competition helping #3 LMU to four dual wins from the Five Pairs.
This is the first WCC recognition for Brach and the second for Rosenthal this season. Rosenthal earned WCC Pair of the Week following the opening week of the season along with
Giuliana Poletti Corrales, and is the first player to receive the award twice this season. Over the six weeks of the season, a pair of Lions have been recognized five times with the weekly conference award.
LMU enters the week ranked third in the country with a 24-2 record. The Lions will compete in the Best of the West in Laguna Beach this weekend, playing two games on Friday and two more on Saturday.
