WESTWOOD, Calif. – The top-ranked UCLA men's water polo team played an all-around game to defeat #15 LMU on Saturday at Spieker Aquatics Center. The Bruins never trailed to win 21-8.

After UCLA jumped ahead 3-0,
Richie Rimlinger put the Lions on the board midway through the first quarter. The Bruins added one back before
Abel Romero Corbalan scored back-to-back goals to bring the Lions within one with just over a minute showing in the first. UCLA added one back to bring the first quarter score to 5-3.

UCLA then responded with six of the seven goals of the second quarter, with only Romero Corbalan's penalty going to the back of the cage for the Lions.

The Bruins posted another six-spot in the third, with Romero Corbalan scoring his fourth, fifth, and sixth goals of the game in the period.

Roman Saroyan starting the fourth quarter with a goal before UCLA closed out the game with the final four.

Finn Friedland made six saves in the cage.

The Lions will play next at Cal State Fullerton for a Wednesday night game on the road.
