The Lions ended the game in very exciting fashion.
Avery Francis reached on a fielder's choice and would be the beginning of the rally for the Lions. She had a pair of hits on the day.

Mika Chong to load the bases for
Izzy Jamgotchian. Jamgotchian, who was named to the preseason all-WCC team, hit a ball into right field that just eluded the right fielder to drive in a pair. Â
Â
Jaurequi would be the hero shortly thereafter and drill a liner between the first and second basemen to send Chong home and the Lions into a frenzy. Â
