LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's soccer team fell to Gonzaga 2-0 on Saturday night in the final game of the regular season at Sullivan Field.
The Lions notched 15 shots but could manage only four on target.
Callan Harrington was the most dangerous player for the Lions, notching four shots with two on target. She was the engine of the attack, using her patented darting runs into the channels as the offensive generators for the Lions.
The Bulldogs scored a pair of first half goals that would be the only tallies in the match.
Late in the second half, the Lions had one of their most dangerous opportunities. Kylie Dobbs ripped a left-footed effort that deflected off a sliding defender and looped into the air. The goalkeeper was caught off guard and palmed the ball away for a corner after scrambling.
