LOS ANGELES - The LMU men's rowing team will start their fall racing season with the Head of the American head race at Lake Natoma on Oct. 28. The fall racing season will be highlighted with the Lions intersquad competition at the LMU Boathouse, on Marina del Rey Saturday, Nov. 4, between 8-11am.
The intersquad scrimmage begins with a series of races between the Red & Blue teams. The two-colored teams are made up of student-athletes from both the men's & women's teams. Points are scored across all boats and races to determine an ultimate winner of the event and bragging rights around the boathouse.
Following the conclusion of the student-athlete racing, alumni are invited to get back in a boat and take a lap through the marina. The alumni row will end with a 500m dash race. The alumni row is a special experience for many who haven't been in a boat for years, or who row often and don't always get to row back in the marina out of their LMU Boathouse. Please indicate your intentions to participate in the alumni row by completing this
