LOS ANGELES – The West Coast Conference's leading scorer
Cam Shelton will begin his professional career after signing to play for Košarkaški klub Split or Split Basketball Club.
KK Split, as it is referred to as is a pro team based in Split, Croatia, and competes in the ABA League and the Croatian League.
Shelton's finished his final season of college basketball as the West Coast Conference's leading scorer and ranked 13
th nationally with 21.4 points per game. Shelton captained his Lions to a fourth-place finish in the WCC and 19 total wins, including four wins over NCAA Tournament teams. Shelton also ranked third in the WCC in assists per game, steals per game, and field goal percentage.
Shelton is the third LMU player under Head Coach
Stan Johnson to sign a professional contract. Previously, Johnson coached Mattias Markusson and Eli Scott ahead of their professional careers.
