HOUSTON, TX -- LMU's Cam Shelton's special season continues as the senior guard has been named to the Lou Henson Award All-America Team for the 2022-23 season. Shelton is the first LMU player ever to be included in the 30-member Lou Henson Award All-America since the award's founding in 2010.

Shelton's finished his final season of college basketball as the West Coast Conference's leading scorer and ranked 13^thnationally with 21.4 points per game. Shelton captained his Lions to a fourth-place finish in the WCC and 19 total wins including four wins over NCAA Tournament teams. Shelton also ranked third in the WCC in assists per game, steals per game, and field goal percentage.

Players on teams from the following conferences are eligible for the award: America East, ASUN, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, MEAC, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, SWAC, Summit, Sun Belt, WAC, West Coast.
