LEXINGTON, KY - The three-time defending West Coast Conference Champions rank seventh nationally in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Coaches Top 20 Preseason Poll.

The Lions received 296 points in the initial poll and trail only UCLA, Florida State, TCU, USC, LSU, and GCU. In the final poll of 2022, LMU ranked fourth behind only USC, Florida State, and UCLA following another impressive run in the NCAA Championships.

LMU opens the 2023 Beach season on Feb. 24 with matches against No. 11 California and Concordia

The next poll will be released Feb. 28.
