LOS ANGELES – The West Coast Conference has announced their annual all-academic team for the 2021-22 season. The list includes five Lions beach volleyball players, including first teamers Avery Poppinga and Megan Rice.
 
Marine Kinna, Jacinda Ramirez, and Reka Orsi Toth were named honorable mentions.
 
To be nominated for the all-academic team, athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA, be a starter or important reserve, hold a sophomore standing, and participate in at least 50 per cent of the team's athletic contests.
