Lions Celebrate Senior Bradley in Low Scoring Day

LOS ANGELES – Prior to the game against Fresno State, LMU recognized senior goalkeeper Elizabeth Bradley for her time with the Lions. Bradley earned the start and made six saves in the 9-5 loss Saturday to Fresno State.
 
Ruth Arino Ruiz opened the game with a goal before Fresno State took their first lead with the next two. Mollyie Williams tied the score with 2:08 to play in the first. The Bulldogs doubled LMU up, 4-2, with the next two goals before Arino Ruiz ended the period with a goal in the closing seconds.
 
The GCC regular season champion Bulldogs scored the only two goals of the second quarter to take a 6-3 lead into halftime intermission.
 
Marialena Seletopoulou opened the second half with a goal to cut into the deficit. FSU extended their lead later in the period, before Seletopoulou cut it back down to a two-goal game in the final minute with a converted powerplay.
 
Similar to the second quarter, Fresno State scored the only two goals of the fourth quarter to take the game 9-5.
 
LMU will close out the regular season with a final home game on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. against Azusa Pacific.
