LOS ANGELES- The No. 17 ranked Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team defeated the DePaul Blue Demons, 4-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Lions got off to a rocky start in doubles but turned it around after losing to the Blue Demon's pair on court 3. LMU pairs Veronika Miroshnichenko/Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik and Isabella Tcherkes-Zade/Wiktoria Rutkowska brought the Lions back in doubles with competitive wins on courts 1 and 2 to take the, 1-0, lead.

LMU finished with dominating singles play, as Veronika Miroshnichenko, Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik, and Isabella Tcherkes-Zade finished the match off strong for the Lions.

This makes LMU's ninth victory on the season, and eight straight matches as they move to 8-1 on the season.
