LOS ANGELES- The No. 27 ranked Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team defeated the Penn Quakers, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Lions started off slow in doubles losing on courts 1 and 3 to fall behind, 0-1, early in the match.

Howver, the Lions would bounce back like they always have this season, as Veronika Miroshnichenko, Wiktoria Rutowska, Isabella Tcherkes-Zade, and Ulyana Shirokova were able to sweep the Quakers to give the Lions the victory.

This makes LMU's seventh victory on the season, and sixth straight as they move to 7-1 on the season.
