LOS ANGELES – No. 10 LMU men's water polo held off the No. 17 Santa Clara Broncos on Thursday afternoon to pick up another WWPA win to remain unbeaten and atop the conference. The Lions edged out the Broncos, 7-6, to move to 3-0 in league play.
The Lions fell behind 1-0 before
David Carrasco and
Bruno Salonikios closed out the period with goals to give the Lions a 2-1 lead after the first period.
