SAN MATEO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has announced that the tandem of Mitchell Wilson and Adam Davie have been named the defensive and offensive players of the week for the week ending in Oct. 2.
Davie added two more scores to his account in the WCC opener against San Francisco. The Lions prevailed 3-0.
Davie has been selected three times this season now. He was also selected for the week ending on August 28 and for the week ending on Sept. 18.
Wilson recorded his fourth clean sheet of the season in the victory. It was his second consecutive shutout. This was Wilson's first selection of the season.
The Lions are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 8 against Pacific.
