LOS ANGELES – For the fourth time in five games, LMU men's basketball will be in front of the home crowd at Gersten Pavilion. The Lions host San Diego Saturday at 4:00 PM with the game streamed on the WCC Network.
LMU met the Toreros earlier this month, falling on the road by five points. This is the first conference opponent that the Lions will face for a second time this season. Three Lions scored in double-digits in the first matchup, including a 29-point performance from
Eli Scott.
The last time that these two teams met in Los Angeles was also a close game, with the Lions earning an overtime win last season to open conference play.
San Diego has played well to open conference play. The five wins by the Toreros have already surpassed their last two seasons combined.
In addition to the WCC Network broadcast, KXLU 88.9 will broadcast the audio of the game on radio. The game will follow the LMU women's game at noon and precede the LMU Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 7:00 later that evening.
Students are encouraged to enter for a chance to sink a half-court shot for tuition at Gersten Pavilion on Thursday, February 10, 2022 during halftime of the game between the Lions and BYU, courtesy of University Credit Union.
