LOS ANGELES – After opening the spring with six consecutive Golden Coast Conference matchups, the LMU women's water polo team will play their only game of the season against a non-conference opponent. The Lions (3-3, 3-3 GCC) will visit Long Beach State (0-6, 0-3 Big West) for a noon showdown.
Saturday's game marks the only two-game road trip of the season. The Lions will be back at Burns Aquatics Center one final time this season, to host Pacific on Apr. 17 with potential conference tournament implications.
Long Beach State is winless on the season, but Saturday will mark only the second home game of the year for The Beach.
LMU has followed each of the two preceding losses this season with a win and will work to avoid a two-game losing streak this season.
The game will be live streamed through BigWest.tv and feature live scoring on TheFOSH.
