LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University men's tennis team (6-9, 3-3) will compete in its final two matches of the season this week and will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday.
The Lions will take on University of San Diego on Friday and Brigham Young University on Saturday, both matches will start at 1:00 PM PST.
LMU's three seniors,
Max Kaiser,
Ethan Prost and
Diego Nava will be recognized at Saturday's match against the Cougars. Fans will be allowed to attend both matches, while following COVID-19 safety protocols.
Austin Di Giulio has had a dominating season, as he has gone 8-3 in singles play from courts 3-6, while going undefeated on court six.
Nava and
Daniel Moreno have also put on a strong showing this season, as the tandem has gone 8-5 in doubles play from the No. 1 spot.
The Lions will head into this week's matches coming off of a tough week, as the team fell to Gonzaga and Portland.
San Diego men's tennis is 7-9 on the season and 4-2 in conference play. The Toreros are coming off of a 4-1 win over Santa Clara. BYU is 13-5 on the season and 6-0 in conference play. The Cougars have won seven straight matches.
The Lions first match of the week will be on Friday at 1:00 PM at LMU Tennis Center.
