LOS ANGELES – With a conference tournament bid on the line, LMU women's water polo has an opportunity in the final home game of the earn a chance to continue on. The Lions (3-4, 3-3 GCC) will host one of the three first place teams, Pacific (8-5, 5-1 GCC) on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the final home game of the season at Burns Aquatics Center.
The #18 Lions, currently in a time for fourth place, will know that they advance to the conference championships with a win on over the #12 Tigers. LMU can still earn a top-four finish and advance to next week's tournament based on scores around the league.
The game will also open with a recognition of LMU's senior class. Prior to the game,
Ryan-Marie Ickes,
Melyssa Moore, and
Alena Sanchez will be honored for their contributions to the program over the last few years.
