LOS ANGELES – It's been over a year since LMU women's water has played against another team. The 12^th-ranked Lions return to action on Saturday to open the new Spring 2021 season. LMU did not get to play a conference game in 2020.
 
The Lions will jump right into GCC action with an away game at #22 Azusa Pacific on Saturday. The game will begin at 11:00 a.m. from Glendora High School in Glendora, Calif.
 
"Our smaller team will begin its smaller schedule in March and we are excited to be back competing," said Head Coach Kyle Witt. "Our coaching staff and university have worked with several of our athletes to opt out of the 2021 competition season and we will be competing short-handed as a result. Our program has discussed not allowing for our lack of depth to be an excuse for any shortcomings this season and to compete for our conference title."
