Lions Close Out Non-Conference Play on the Road, Beginning Saturday in Reno

LOS ANGELES – LMU men's basketball returns to the road to close out the non-conference portion of the team's schedule. The Lions play at Nevada on Saturday night in the penultimate game before the month of December ends and conference play. LMU's game against the Wolf Pack will air on CBS Sports Network at 8:00 PM.

The Lions are 3-0 so far this season following a loss, and Saturday night is another opportunity to avenge a defeat. LMU is also 2-0 in true road games and 3-1 in games outside of Los Angeles.

Nevada has already played four schools from the West Coast Conference, losing three of those contests in November before defeating Pepperdine. The Wolf Pack have only played one December game so far, Wednesday's win over Minnesota Duluth.

Senior Eli Scott has played in the Lawlor Events Center before, back when LMU and Nevada met in the 2019-20 season. In that game, Scott scored 18 points to lead the team and added five rebounds and three assists. Scott continues to lead the Lions this season, averaging 17.0 points per game in his fifth season and over 20.0 points per game in his last five outings.

Scott ranks 30th in Division I among active players over their careers with 1,668 career points, 20th with 818 rebounds, and 61st in assists with 389.

This is the third of seven games on CBS Sports Network for the Lions this season. LMU's two games in the Jacksonville Classic aired on the network in November. The game is the nightcap of a five-game slate.

The game will also be broadcasted on radio on KXLU 88.9.

LMU will leave straight from Reno to go to Louisville to face Bellarmine on Dec. 21.
