LOS ANGELES – Saturday's final game was all about recognizing the senior class for their contributions to the program. LMU followed the senior ceremony with a tight 1-0 defeat to Gonzaga to close out the 2021 season.
 
Prior to kickoff, eight members of the team were recognized with their families in an on-field celebration.
 
The senior class included #1 Kendyll Humphreys, #2 Jalyn Lupo, #9 Mia Villegas, #14 Sydney Schultz, #19 Skylar Robledo, #26 Jordan Robinson, #28 Emma Rohleder, and #32 Siarfo Abekah.
 
The Lions kept the game close thanks to seven saves from the senior goalkeeper Humphreys.
 
Gonzaga did find the back of the net in the second half with a 58^th minute finish.
 
LMU closed out the season with 11 shots and allowed 17 from the Bulldogs. Robledo accounted for three of the shots, including two on frame.
