LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University men's tennis team (2-1, 2-0 WCC) will host San Diego State University on Saturday afternoon at LMU Tennis Center.
The Lions will be coming off of a tough loss to UC Santa Barbara, as the team battled until the end last week, but fell to the Gauchos 4-3.
The Lions took the doubles point against UCSB, as
Thien Nguyen and
Diego Nava defeated their opponents on court one, 7-6 and
Max Kaiser and
Ryan Brown beat their opponents on court three 6-1.
Kaiser and Austin Di Giulo both give the Lions a point in singles play, making it a close match against the Gauchos.
This will be the Lions fourth straight home match this season. The last time the Lions took on SDSU was in 2018. LMU swept the Aztecs 5-0 in Las Vegas, Nevada. SDSU is 2-3 on the season.
The Lions will kick off doubles play at 2:00 PM at LMU Tennis Center.
