LOS ANGELES – The fourth tournament of the 2020 season sends LMU women's water polo (3-3) to La Jolla, Calif. for the Triton Invitational. The Lions are guaranteed four games, but only know their first opponent, Long Beach State on Saturday at 9:50 a.m. from Canyonview Aquatic Center.
LMU's second game of the day will be determined based on results from the early game. The Lions will remain at Triton Pool and play either USC or Villanova at either 1:50 p.m. or 3:10 p.m. Sunday's game times will be determined at the conclusion of Saturday's game.
The 16- team field is split into four brackets. #16 LMU's bracket includes #1 USC, #12 Long Beach State, and Villanova. The rest of the field includes #3 UCLA, #5 UC Irvine, #7 UC San Diego, #8 Arizona State, #T-9 UC Davis, #T-9 UC Santa Barbara, #19 Indiana, #21 San Diego State, #22 Cal State Northridge, #24 Marist, Santa Clara, and Pomona-Pitzer.
Live stats will only be available for games that feature UC San Diego.
Tickets are available at the gate for $15 per day.
