LOS ANGELES - LMU men's basketball (9-18, 3-10 WCC) heads up to Portland (9-19, 1-12 WCC) on Saturday with eyes on a season sweep over the Pilots. Both teams will be playing for their 10th win of the season when the ball is tipped at 7:00 p.m. from the Chiles Center.
 
The two teams met in Los Angeles on Jan. 23, with LMU leading from the opening tip through the end of the game to earn the 77-65 win. Keli Leaupepe and Parker Dortch each hit the 20-point scoring marks for the first times in their careers as Lions, finishing with 24 and 20 points, respectively. Eli Scott was key in setting the pair up finishing with a double-double on only four shots, thanks to his 10 assist and 13 rebound outing.
 
This will be LMU's final road game of the regular season, and splitting the first two games of this season-long three game road swing. The Lions won their first road game of the season last Saturday at Santa Clara and fought with Saint Mary's on Thursday night in Moraga until the very end. Both games were decided by six points. Portland has dropped 11 straight conference games overall.
 
Saturday will be the final home game for Portland and feature pre-game recognition of graduate transfers Isaiah White and Lavar Harewood, as well as redshirt junior Malcolm Porter as part of Senior Day.

LMU's final two games will be played at home next week. The Lions host Pacific and San Francisco to close out the year. Prior to the game against USF on Feb. 29, LMU will unveil a statue honoring Hank Gathers with a special 4:00 p.m. ceremony, prior to the 5:00 p.m. tip against the Dons.
