LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's basketball team (1-1) will head to Phoenix, Ariz., to take on Grand Canyon University after a hard-fought win over UC Irvine.
The Lions will take on GCU coming off of an impressive 66-56 win over the Anteaters in their home-opener Thursday night, where
Khari Clark scored a career high in points, with 19.
Along with Clark, CiCi Ellington,
Natalia Klimek,
Meghan Mandel and
Nicole Rodriguez have put up a strong showing over the last two games, and are looking to continue their momentum against GCU.
Saturday's game will be the Lions' first meeting with the Antelopes in program history. The Antelopes are 2-0 on the season and are coming off of an 80-72 win against Benedictine Mesa.
Tip-off will be at 12 PST at GCU Arena on Saturday. The game will be streamed.
