LOS ANGELES – The third week of the 2020 women's water polo season brings LMU (3-1) to UCLA's Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. The #16 Lions will open the morning against #14 Long Beach State at 9 a.m. and then have the opportunity to play the nation's top-ranked team, USC, at 12:45 p.m.
 
The Beach (3-0) enters the tournament undefeated on the season. Long Beach State swept their way through the season-opening Beach Invite with home wins over La Verne, San Diego State, and Azusa Pacific last Saturday.
 
A participant of last weekend's Lancer Joust along with LMU, the Trojans (2-0) also swept their way through Riverside. USC won each game of the tournament by allowing just two goals to each opponent, beating Cal Baptist, 17-2, and Concodia, 25-2.
