LOS ANGELES – The second weekend of the 2020 women's water polo season send the #16 LMU women's water polo team (1-1) to Riverside for the annual Lancer Joust. The Lions will open the one-day tournament by playing Pomona-Pitzer in the 9 a.m. game and then follow with Chapman at 11:30 a.m.
 
The Sagehens have yet to play this spring, but are coming off a 20-win season a year ago. These two teams met in Riverside last season as well, with LMU earning a 13-6 win.
 
Chapman opens the season as the 7^th-ranked team in the Division III polls. The Lions beat the Panthers in dominating fashion in this tournament a year ago, 18-1.
 
All games will have live stats running through theFOSH, and will be played at Lancer Aquatics Center. In total, the mini-tournament features seven games beginning every hour and fifteen minutes. Three ranked teams, #1 USC, #8 UC San Diego, and #16 LMU are playing in this year's field.
