LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount men's tennis team will kick off conference play this Saturday against rival Pepperdine in Malibu, Calif.
The Lions will head into Saturday's match with the No. 40 doubles tandem of
Diego Nava and
Nick Borchenko, who are 5-0 on the season and are currently the highest ranked West Coast Conference doubles pair.
The Lions boast the No. 86 singles player,
Lukas Moenter, who has taken on several ranked opponents this season.
In the Lions' last match, the team put up a fight, pushing Nebraska until the end, but coming up short and falling 4-3.
In the Lions' last match against the Waves, the team won 4-1 at home. LMU will take the courts at 2:00 p.m. in Malibu, Calif.
