LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount softball team will open up its second weekend of the LMU Tournament starting on Thursday and will host teams including No. 2 Oklahoma, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, Illinois, Cal Baptist and Dartmouth. 
 
The Lions (14-9) will kick off the tournament against UCSB on Thursday at 11:30 a.m., with a game against No. 2 Oklahoma to follow at 2:00 p.m.
 
The Lions will be coming into this weekend's games with four consecutive wins at home, including their sweep against Boston University on Tuesday. 
 
LMU finished the first weekend of the LMU tournament 2-2, which included an 8-0 shutout against Western Carolina, where WCC Pitcher of the Week Hannah Bandimere threw her first career no-hitter. 
 
LMU beat UCSB in their last meeting and is 18-19 against the Gauchos. No. 2 Oklahoma has an undefeated 5-0 record against the Lions and last played them in 2017. 
 
Oklahoma is on an 11-game winning streak and have beat nine ranked opponents. UCSB is 6-19 on the season.
