LOS ANGELES – Head Coach John Loughran has announced the signing of Moorpark High School's Connor Settem to the men's water polo team for the upcoming season.
 
Settem will join the Lions with numerous academic and athletic accolades. His classroom achievements include four years as a National AP Scholar with Distinction, USA Water Polo Academic All-American in 2017 and 2018, American Water Polo Academic All-American in 2018, four years with Coastal Canyon All-League with Honors recognition, four years on the Principals Award Honor Roll, and four years as a Scholar Athlete with a 4.0.
 
In the pool, Settem was Moorpark High School's Team Captain, MVP and Most Outstanding Player as the team's starting center. In his senior season, Settem totaled 126 goals and drew 75 ejections and 40 drawn 5-meters.
 
Competed for South Coast Aquatics U14 A-U18 A Water Polo team. Served as the starting center from 2013-2018 in over 300 USA Water Polo Events & 6 Junior Olympic Championships Tournaments.
 
Settem was a member of USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program 2016 Coastal Pacific Cadet Team.
