LOS ANGELES – In their second weekend of competition this season, the Loyola Marymount women's water polo team (2-0) jumps into the pool Saturday for two games at the UCLA mini tournament then the annual alumni match at Burns Aquatics Center.
 
The #15 Lions open the tournament against hosts and third-ranked UCLA. The Bruins are a perfect 7-0 on the season and have swept their way through both the UC Santa Barbara Invitational and the Cal Cup. The game between the two ranked programs will begin first thing in the morning at 8:30 a.m.
 
LMU's second game of the day pairs the Lions against #5 Hawaii. The matchups is set to pick up at 11:00 a.m., and immediately follow the game between the Bruins and Warriors. Both teams are still undefeated after Hawaii opened the year with three wins in the 2019 Rainbow invite and holding a 4-0 overall record.
 
Admission to both tournament from UCLA's Spieker Aquatics Center games is free.
 
The Lions will then trek back to the Bluff to welcome back teammates from the past in the annual alumni game. Action will begin at 3 p.m. from the Burns Aquatics Center pool and admission is free.
