LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's basketball team will make its season debut this Saturday, as the team will head down the road to take on UCLA in Pauley Pavilion.
The Lions will open up their 2019-20 season on Saturday coming off of a 59-50 exhibition win against Point Loma, where
Jasmine Jones led the Lions in points with 20.
Naomi Yim tallied up 14 points for the Lions, after sitting out for most of her 2018-19 season due to injury.
The Lions head into this season tied for sixth in the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll, after going 18-15 and 10-8 in the WCC.
Last season, the Lions upset the Bruins 69-63 in Gersten Pavilion, giving LMU's first ever win against UCLA. The Lions are 1-9 against the Bruins all time.
Tipoff will be at 2:00 PM in Pauley Pavilion on Saturday.
