LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's basketball team (2-4) will host its annual Thanksgiving Classic this weekend, as the Lions will host Fresno State, Yale and Georgetown. 
 
The Lions open up the Thanksgiving Classic after coming back from a road trip from Tulsa, Okla., where the Lions battled but dropped the game. Jasmine Jones had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. 
 
The Lions will play second on both Friday and Saturday, as the team will take on Georgetown on Friday after the Fresno State Yale game, and then take on Yale at 3:30 on Saturday after the Fresno State Georgetown game.  
 
Last season, the Lions hosted Robert Morris, SMU and Northern Arizona University. The Lions lost their first game against NAU, but then beat Robert Morris 61-53. 
 
The Lions last played Yale in 1985 and beat the Bulldogs 59-57. The Lions are 1-1 against Georgetown and last met with the Hoyas in 2008, where the Lions won 54-49.  
 
The Lions will tip-off against Georgetown on Friday at 3:30 PM.
