LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University volleyball team (15-14, 9-8) will take its final road trip of the season this Tuesday, as the team is set to head down to San Diego to take on University of San Diego.
Battling several injuries, the Lions fell in their last two matches, as the team fell 3-1 to both Santa Clara and San Francisco.
The Lions are led by
Savannah Slattery, who leads the team and the West Coast Conference in kills with 240 on the season, while
Megan Rice comes in at No. 3 with 174.
Tess Reid is seventh in the conference in assists with 435 on the season.
Emmelyn Walters is seventh in the conference in hitting percentage, with .325, while
Alexis Morrow is eighth in blocks with 41.
Bo Culo is 10
thin the WCC in digs, tallying up 179, and
Jessie Prichard is 10
thin service aces with 20 on the season.
The last time the Lions met with San Diego was at home earlier this season, where LMU fell to the Toreros 3-1, putting the Lions at 36-39 all-time.
LMU will take on the Toreros in San Diego at 6:00 PM on Tuesday.
