LOS ANGELES --.  – The Loyola Marymount University basketball team won its exhibition 59-50 against Point Loma on Saturday afternoon in Gersten Pavilion.

The Lions had several standouts in their exhibition match, as Jasmine Jones led the team in points, putting up 20. Jones made nine field goals and had nine total rebounds. 
 
Raychel Stanley tied with Jones in rebounds with nine and had two blocks. Naomi Yim made two three-point shots, the Lions' only three-pointers of the game. Yim tallied up 14 total points. 
 
The Lions had a 33.3 field goal percentage, while Point Loma had a 32.1 percentage. The Lions shot 20 percent from behind the arch and made 58.6 percent of free throws. 
 
LMU took its biggest lead of the game in the fourth quarter, where the team lead Point Loma by 10 points. There were four lead changes and the score was tied four times.
