LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University women's basketball team (0-1) will host the University of Hawai'i in its home opener on Wednesday night in Gersten Pavilion.
The Lions head into their home opener coming off of a 74-52 loss against No. 11 UCLA.
Jasmine Jones led the team in points with 12, while
Cierra Belvin had 11. Freshman
Ciera Ellington made a statement in her first collegiate game, as she led the Lions in rebounds with six, while freshman
Laura Vaida had five.
The last time the Lions took on Hawaii was in 2015, where LMU fell to the Rainbow Warriors 65-61. The Lions are 2-10 against Hawai'i all-time.
Tip-off will be on Thursday at 7:00 PM in Gersten Pavilion.
