Southbound Lions Look to Hand San Diego First Home Loss

LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's soccer team (3-8-2, 2-1-0 WCC) has an opportunity on Friday afternoon to put a blemish on San Diego's (5-6-1, 1-2-0 WCC) perfect 4-0-0 mark at Torero Stadium. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. and have both live video and stats available.

In the four home games for the Toreros, they have yet to allow a goal. Most recently, USD shutout Saint Mary's, 5-0, for their lone conference win. The five-goal shutout was sandwiched between a pair of 6-0 losing-end defeats to conference opponents on the road at Gonzaga and at Santa Clara.

After winning their first two games of conference play, LMU looks to rebound after the double overtime loss suffered in last weekend's PCH Cup.

The single game is the lone competition this week for both teams.
