EVANSTON, Ill. – A rebounded shot put back into the net was the difference maker Thursday night as Loyola Marymount women's soccer could not come back from a one-goal deficit to #15 Northwestern, losing 1-0.
The Lions (2-4-1) and Wildcats (5-0-1) remained even until a 57
thminute goal kept NU unbeaten on the year. Brenna Lovera capitalized when the ball fell to her after hitting the post off a corner kick to the short tap in.
LMU tripled their shot totals in the second half, including a pair from substitute
Emily Carman.

Skylar Robledo accounted for LMU's other two shots, half of Northwestern's eight total.
Each goalkeeper,

The Lions will shift focus to Sunday's opponent DePaul. The game will kick early for those on the west coast, with an 11:00 a.m. PST start scheduled. The game will be streamed on
